What Are CBD Products?

First things first: CBD (cannabidiol) is a cannabinoid found in cannabis plants. Now that most states have legalized hemp (or at least allow it for medical purposes), there has been a lot of research into CBD for skin applications.

Clinical studies have shown that CBD can be quite beneficial when applied topically. CBD skincare products contain CBD oil, allowing you to enjoy those benefits as part of your daily routine.

4 Ways CBD Can Help Your Skin

Did you know that your skin is actually your body’s largest organ? Naturally, what you put onto and into it matters! Here’s a quick look at 4 reasons why CBD is a supercharged skincare ingredient:

  1. Anti-Inflammatory: CBD has been shown to reduce inflammation, which can help with many common skin conditions, such as itchiness, irritation, and redness.
  2. Anti-Aging: Many people use CBD for skin because of its potent antioxidants that may combat oxidative stress that can lead to premature signs of aging.
  3. Antibacterial/Antifungal: CBD has been shown to have antibacterial and antifungal properties that may help to prevent and fight infections.
  4. Hydration: CBD has been shown to have hydrating properties that may soothe and nourish the skin while combating dryness.

Regular Skincare vs CBD Skincare

This is CBD skincare 101, so of course, we’re focusing on CBD, but it’s worth noting that you don’t need to completely replace your regular skincare routine to enjoy CBD skincare benefits! Here at Lea Black Beauty®, we make it possible for you to experience CBD for skin health, wellness, and beauty without giving up other essential ingredients.

Regular (non-CBD) skincare isn’t being replaced. CBD is simply another ingredient that can be added to formulas when it makes sense to do so. A lot of the CBD products out there add CBD to a product just because it sells, not considering the science behind its use. That’s not our style.

Our CBD products are formulated alongside the finest clean, raw ingredients sourced from all over the world. Our synergistic approach lets you use CBD without drastically altering your tried-and-true skincare routine. Of course, we also offer plenty of non-CBD products, too.

Simply put, using CBD for the skin can be a game-changer, but not every CBD-infused product on the market is going to deliver ideal results. CBD products can be added to your regular skincare routine here and there, or you can go all-in with a complete CBD-centric regimen—face care, eye care, body lotion, and bath treatments—the works! Stock up on our CBD skincare products, and don’t forget to sign up for our rewards program to save on future orders!

Why Does CBD Change Color?

CBD oil is a natural substance that can change color for a variety of reasons—that doesn’t mean it has gone bad or is no longer effective! The color of CBD can change due to the carrier oil it’s mixed with, the method used to extract the CBD from the hemp plant, and the oil’s storage conditions.

While changing color isn’t necessarily a sign of a bad product, you may want to discard it if you notice a significant change in the product’s smell or texture. All of our products that contain CBD for skin have a 24-month shelf life and will still deliver the same CBD skincare benefits even if the color changes.
