Here at Lea Black Beauty®, we only use the finest clean, raw ingredients, including essential oils, botanical and herbal extracts, potent antioxidants, and so much more. Each one of our proprietary formulas is unique, but what they all have in common is that they’re 100% natural, cruelty-free, and ethically sourced from all over the world. 

Here’s a quick overview of ingredients featured in our skincare products.

Allantoin 

Allantoin is a skin protectant that can soothe, heal, and hydrate skin.

Aloe Vera

A popular sunburn treatment, this cactus-like plant is famous for its moisturizing and soothing properties.

Apricot Seed Oil 

Apricot seed oil can replenish essential vitamins and nutrients and help them penetrate the skin barrier and reach blood cells.

Avocado Oil 

Rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamins, avocado oil has been shown to deliver deep hydration, protect from free radical damage, soothe inflammation, and promote healing. It can also be used as a natural protectant from UV damage.

CBD (Hemp Oil)

CBD (cannabidiol) is a hemp-derived compound that offers a myriad of benefits when applied topically, including soothing redness and inflammation, regulating sebum production, and hydrating dry skin. It also has potent antioxidants that neutralize free radicals.

Citrus Essential Oils 

Orange and pink grapefruit essential oils are used to brighten the skin, regulate oil production, and fight bacteria. They also contain significant amounts of potent antioxidants.

Collagen

Collagen is a protein that gives skin its firmness, resilience, structure, elasticity, and “snap.” It's a powerful anti-aging ingredient that can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and tighten up saggy skin. 

Cocoa Seed Butter

Cocoa seed butter is used to form a protective barrier that locks in moisture. It’s rich in antioxidants.

Cucumber Extract 

Cucumber extract can hydrate, smooth, and soften skin and may help to produce a more even, consistent skin tone.

DL-Panthenol 

Also known as Pro-Vitamin B5, DL-panthenol is used to soften and moisturize skin.

Evening Primrose Seed Oil 

Evening primrose seed oil is used to promote a clear complexion and minimize visible signs of aging.

Geranium Extract 

A powerful anti-aging ingredient, geranium extract can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, balance, and brighten the skin.

Goat Milk

Goat milk is packed with fatty acids and essential vitamins, including A, B, B12, and E. It can support a healthy skin barrier, replenish moisture, and calm inflammation. It has a pH remarkably close to human skin, making it especially soothing. It also contains lactic acid that can naturally exfoliate dead skin cells.

Grapefruit Seed Extract 

Grapefruit seed extract has been shown to regulate oil production. It has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

Green Tea Extract 

Green tea extract is rich in potent antioxidants and polyphenols that combat free radical damage and protect skin from oxidative stress.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the body. It can deliver deep hydration, stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and give skin firmness and elasticity.

Jojoba Seed Oil 

Jojoba seed oil has been shown to soothe inflammation and enhance the skin’s natural restorative processes.

Lavender Oil

Lavender oil has antibacterial properties and is often used to soothe skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis. It's also rich in antioxidants.

Lemongrass Oil

Lemongrass oil is used to cleanse pores, boost blood flow, soothe inflammation, and support a more even skin tone. It’s also rich in antioxidants.

Licorice Root Extract

Licorice root extract has been shown to regulate melanin production, producing a more even, brighter skin tone. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidants.

Mango Butter 

Mango butter is a luxurious ingredient that can soften skin, prevent visible signs of aging, soothe inflammation, and protect against UV damage.

Marigold Extract

Marigold extract can prevent water loss, ensuring that skin stays hydrated. With a natural SPF of 8.36%, it offers outstanding UV protection. 

Marula Seed Oil 

Rich in antioxidants, fatty acids, and amino acids, marula seed oil is commonly used for its anti-aging benefits, as well as hydration and protection from environmental stressors.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil 

Meadowfoam oil is known for its moisturizing, anti-aging, and UV protection properties. It also increases the shelf life of CBD oil.

Oat Bran Extract

Rich in antioxidants, oat bran extract can protect from oxidative stress, calm irritated skin, boost collagen production, and strengthen the skin barrier.

Papaya Extract 

Papaya extract has natural exfoliating properties and can be used to balance and brighten skin, combat infections, and promote wound healing.

Retinol

A fat-soluble form of vitamin A, retinol is a powerhouse ingredient with many benefits, including reducing the appearance of aging skin, boosting collagen production, evening skin tone, and brightening the complexion for a vibrant glow.

Roman Chamomile Extract

Roman chamomile extract has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and is often used to brighten skin.

Rosemary

Rosemary can cleanse pores, fight bacteria, combat sun damage, soothe inflammation, and produce a more even skin tone.

Saffron Flower Extract

Saffron flower extract is used to reduce dark spots, protect from environmental stressors, and calm inflammation. It has exfoliating properties and can scrub away dead skin cells and other impurities.

Sage Extract

Rich in flavonoids and triterpenes, sage extract has powerful anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is packed with enriching fatty acids that deeply moisturize the skin.

Sodium PCA 

A humectant based on the skin’s amino acids, sodium PCA is a natural moisturizer.

Starflower Extract 

Also known as borage, starflower is packed with omega-6 essential fatty acids that moisturize the skin and improve its elasticity and firmness.

St. John’s Wort

St. John’s wort has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and contains nourishing minerals.

Sunflower Seed Oil 

Rich in antioxidants and vitamins, sunflower seed oil can protect from UV damage, reduce visible signs of aging, and improve moisture retention.

Sweet Almond Oil

Sweet almond oil nourishes, brightens, and hydrates skin. It can break down excess oils and soothe inflammation.

Vitamin C

Often used as a brightening agent, vitamin C can regulate melanin production for a more even skin tone that glows. It’s also a potent antioxidant and an essential component for the synthesis of collagen.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a humectant and emollient, which means it helps the skin to absorb and retain water. It’s a powerful antioxidant that combats free radicals and other external aggravators, among many other benefits.

Wakame Extract

Wakame is a type of seaweed that’s rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. It can exfoliate naturally, calm inflammation, and stimulate collagen production.

White Willow Bark Extract

White willow bark extract is often used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, cleanse pores to prevent breakouts, and control sebum production.

Witch Hazel Leaf Extract 

Witch hazel leaf extract is an astringent that’s often used to soothe inflammation.
